About
Independent advice from someone who has been on both sides of the table
UK Corporate Advisory was founded by Ronnie Rajendra to provide founders and business owners with the kind of senior, independent advice that is rarely available from larger firms — advice that is genuinely on the owner's side.
Ronnie Rajendra
Founder, UK Corporate Advisory
Background
- 25+ years across corporate finance, M&A, legal and tax advisory
- Extensive transaction experience across the UK and Australian markets
- Direct experience as a business owner and property developer
- Advisory work focused on qualifying full disposals of businesses and controlling interests
Ronnie has spent more than 25 years working across corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, legal and tax advisory. That experience spans transactions of varying scale and complexity, across multiple sectors and jurisdictions — including extensive work in both the UK and Australian markets.
What distinguishes his background is that it does not sit entirely on the advisory side. Ronnie has also owned and operated businesses, and has developed property. That direct experience of being an owner — of understanding what is at stake personally and commercially when a founder considers selling — shapes how he approaches his work with clients.
Founders who have not sold a business before are often at a disadvantage in the process. They are dealing with advisers — investment banks, lawyers, accountants — who do this every day, and whose interests are not always perfectly aligned with the owner's. Ronnie's role is to redress that imbalance: to ensure that the founder has an experienced, independent adviser who is focused entirely on their objectives.
UKCA's advisory work is limited to qualifying full disposals of businesses or controlling interests. That focus is deliberate. It means the firm's experience and attention are concentrated on the transactions that matter most to the founders it works with.
The best advisers are not just technically capable. They understand what the founder is actually going through.
How UKCA works
Senior, independent and focused on the founder
Solely on the founder's side
UKCA has no interest in a transaction other than achieving the best outcome for the owner. There is no pressure to complete, no relationship with the buyer to protect and no other client whose interests might conflict with the founder's.
Senior involvement throughout
Ronnie is personally involved in every engagement. Founders are not handed to a team of junior advisers once the relationship is established. The experience and judgment that UKCA offers is present throughout the process.
Practical and commercially grounded
The advice UKCA gives is shaped by direct experience of owning and operating businesses, not just advising on them. That means it is practical, honest and focused on what actually matters — not on process for its own sake.
Confidential and discreet
Conversations with UKCA are treated in strict confidence. Founders can discuss their situation, their plans and their concerns openly, without any obligation to proceed.
